If you keep receiving unsolicited bulk emails, you can always raise the level or if you are afraid that you may skip a genuine email message, you can mix the automated spam filter with a custom one and redirect all emails from a given sender to a separate mailbox. If you reach the decision that you no longer require anti-spam protection for a certain email account, you can deactivate it with no more than several clicks.

To take no chances, you can choose all filtered messages to be delivered to a special email account such as email@example.com and not to be erased. In this way, you can go through them from time to time to make sure that you haven’t omitted a legitimate email.
